Okay, I have a list-- get ready. (Also, y'all should check out some of these cuz they're awesome.) tele

The Tail of Emily Windsnap by Liz Kessler (Book) - A really good chapter book series (it's technically for kids cuz I've been reading them since elementary school) about a girl named Emily who discovers that she is part mermaid and her journey of discovering an ocean life she's never know. However, it's so much deeper than that and you'll just have to read it cuz aH!

Forgive My Fins by Tera Lynn Childs (Book) - A story of a mermaid who is currently living with her aunt (I think, can't remember off the top of my head). She ends up fall for a guy who she really hopes to be able to take back to sea with her. However, her plans are ruined when she gets kissed by the school jerk. As a mermaid, whoever she shares her first kiss with she will become bonded with. The two will start falling in love with each other and will eventually be set to stay together forever. Neither of them want this, but the only way to break the bond is via a challenge they have to face together. It's a really good series and definitely more for a young adult audience.

The Frog Princess by ED Baker (Book) - Okay, so I actually haven't read this one in FOREVER, but when I tell you that it impacted my mind as a small child... It just really did. Imagine a book with princesses and witches and princesses who ARE witches and frogs and falling in love and so much fantasy elements and just feeling your rebel child inside of you come to life?? Gosh. It's so good.

Godchild by Kaori Yuki (Manga) - I always love a good Victorian murder mystery manga and Godchild is no exception. Cain is the son of a noble family with a dark past. After the passing of his father he's left as head of the estate. Now he is left with his half sister Mary Weather and his servant Riff. However, as crime seems to follow his trail, he is led to investigate it.

Kitchen Princess by Natsumi Ando (Manga) - I don't wanna spoil anything, but I will say that this manga deals with darker subjects as it progresses. It's really freaking good though and it's NOT what you'd expect when you start reading it. Basically, Najika wants to become a chef in hopes of finding the boy who helped her during a dark moment in her life when she was a child. He gave her a spoon that was from a culinary academy and, from that point on, she set her sights on going. That's all the details you get. Go read it. Now.

Karas (Anime) - I cannot stress enough how much I ADORE this anime. Does it make sense? Barely. Is it absolutely beautiful? Yes. I'm gonna try to summarize it the best I can: Karas is a hero who fights against evil guy who wants to stop Karas from what he's doing. In really life, Karas is a doctor who helps yokai. Evil guy I think sends bad yokai to hurt people and uhhhh yeah. I know it doesn't sound that appealing BUT IT IS. I am HOOKED on it. Please watch it if not for the story then for the GORGEOUS art style.

Okay, that is all for now! I will spare you all with any further lengthy descriptions.
