I’ll be going to buy books to read over summer sometime soon hopefully

I’ll accept any recommendations but keep it appropriate and maybe not in the horror genre and books with representation are cool!!

any book by ellen hopkins (she writes realistic fiction about some heavier real world topics)

impulse is my favorite (burned and its sequel smoke are also pretty good)

(along with the crank trilogy)

oh yea her books are in poem format but they dont have any rhymes and they pretty much read like a normal book

The Lunar Chronicles series by Marissa Meyer! Also Goosebumps books, I recommend The Headless Ghost, Go Eat Worms, and Attack of the Jack-O-Lanterns but there are a lot of other ones that r very good! (if u do read the goosebumps books, don't read the fear street ones unless u can handle more mature stuff like g0r3 and d34th and stuff)

@under_achieverx: because okok trust me it's genuinely such a good book series it looks childish (and i suppose it is a lil bit) but its simple and easy to follow for the most part and the aNGST AUGHHH (i liek angst)
