@Thehoneycomb: there's literally a reason you probably didn't see the first message they sent but they aren't entirely innocent. and we weren't tryin to "gang up" but both kankri and i can get fired up quickly and since we didn't use tone tags i can see the misunderstanding. i know we both use heavy language and the way we talk can seem rude cuz we talk in a sort of "flat" way that makes us seem angry but i can promise we weren't. but yeah i apologize, nightfall.

maisy only said that BECAUSE I BLOCKED THEM if you didn't know when you have someone blocked and click on the profile then it says you or they blocked you it doesn't specify. maisy didn't mean any harm but she left front before they responded. when maisy fronts again i'll have her apologize. but i also sincerely apologize to nightfall.

(Heres a simple explanation) There are many DID/OSDD systems on here, because it is (usually) a safe space for us. Most of these people don’t go parading it around irl. Because it is a trauma disorder, and there is no reason for that. It is also easier to find other systems to communicate with on this website. Some people with DID/OSDD just simply like to sign their names so people know whos fronting. It may help them also feel heard. We usually don’t sign our names simply by choice, however some choose to do it for multiple reasons.

@Lord_Cookie: if I'm honest it was mainly directed towards the other dude, he was being a total asshole, I think you just kind of followed along, personally I don't think Nightfall ever spreaded misinformation, everything they said was true and vaild, yes saying you have you're a system isn't necessarily exposing yourself but it can easily lead to that if you're not careful, so please just don't pull something like this again, it really isn't okay

@Thehoneycomb: Hold on, hold on. I apologise sincerely if I ganged up on anyone or was rude. I genuinely mean that. However they are not completely innocent as they supposedly researched a lot yet still spread blatant misinformation and therefore we have a right to be annoyed or even "gang up" in your words. I at least, have tried my best not to twist words, however a lot of the changes were edits done by her, while I will now stop responding to them specifically, this is just, a lot. We are not exposing ourselves, and I'm kind of tired of this argument and here is why:

When people list their diagnoses (I am not bring self dx or professional dx into this, count them together for me please), like ADHD, it is perfectly allowable and not "exposing". However simply telling who is fronting is now exposing, this is a genuine question, how is it any different? Is it just because one is a trauma disorder? /gen (is this how you use tone tags correctly?)

And I personally haven't "spread any lies", you could argue Timaeus spread one through a misunderstanding thinking they blocked someone even though it was actually Timaeus who blocked her. I understand the anger and I've read through the discussion and I do admit my faults, I did drag on and on and it was unnecessary and I do apologise sincerely for that, however this was something that needed to be said, at least in my own (seperate from the system's) opinion. Plus, again a genuine question, how much research is this and how is it any different from researching about it in order to figure out if you have it? /gen

I'm not mad, and haven't been throughout this, I guess we can stop with this however their opinion in the beginning was unnecessary, however my part - you could argue - was also. I sincerely apologise to Nightfall. - Zatharias

@Lord_Cookie: @timaeusTestified: you guys really need to just calm the hell down, I don’t like fighting but you guys just ganged up on them for no reason, she didn’t say anything wrong, you guys were twisting her words and making her seem like a shitty person then went and started spreading lies, that’s just fucking low, she hasn’t said anything harmful and can have opinions on systems, especially with having done so much research, I have no idea why you’re acting so sensitive about this when exposing yourselves only is very dangerous even on Kandi, can you please stop being assholes to a completely innocent person?

please stop responding to me, i understand the points being made as they have already been made many times. but i dont want my notifications filled with mentions from this post. and also, read my DNI. its in my bio and its been recently updated. this is getting frustrating to deal with. i dont want to block anybody because of already being accused of blocking people, but i am getting more frustrated. please just stop. im not trying to fakeclaim anybody, and i never was. im just stating how incredibly rare it is for a minor to be that aware of their DID/OSDD. and im sorry if this comes off as passive aggressive but im really starting to get annoyed with all of the comments. just please try to understand. thank you.

@N1GHTFALL: Hi, I really don't want to cause any drama, but as the Co-Host of our system I have a few things I'd like to say.

1) Signing off with an alter's name isn't dangerous. We aren't exposing the trauma we have gone through, we are simply stating who you are talking to. If someone is confused, they can simply ask. Saying it's dangerous or oversharing when it's meant to be helpful is simply incorrect, it'd be similar to saying asking for tone tags is dangerous because they are often used by people with ASD or ADHD. When it affects you, it's not oversharing, it's needed.

2) The way you addressed the issue was not okay. It is something that should only be discussed between systems, and the language you were using felt as though you believe every person open about the disorder is faking. That isn't the case; we are open about it because we felt so much shame for so long, because we feel we are safe to do so, and because it heavily affects our day-to-day life. Living with this disorder and not telling people isn't an option for us.

3) I'm not sure why it matters to you so much. Even if it wasn't your intention, this thread has caused a lot of drama and has hurt people. We're rather upset because we feel attacked and unheard. Please be more mindful in the future, DID, OSSD, and other dissociative disorders are extremely misunderstood and people who have them have to defend themselves and their connection to their disorder too often.

Thank you, sorry if this comes across as rude or blunt, I can really struggle with tone. I don't mean any of this is a rude way. /gen
