I'm about to piss myself off with this but lolz- x_x BEFORE I GO TO BED >:3 What's your biggest alternative hot take? O.o Mine is that is bugs me when people are like "We have to bring the 2000s back! Rawring 20s!" yet at the same time go "Normalize not vibing to the social construct of fetishizing systematic toxic stimulationing gaslighting so you can retrieve non-problematic mental vibes" like if your going to parade "Living in the 2000s" around then drop that 2022 talk. And if you aren't... Still drop it, it's stupid and you just sound like your trying too hard to sound smart, lol

@V4MP1RE_GUTZZ: yesss omg I've had ppl be like "I'm punk" when they've never listened to a single punk song... punk was founded hell created by poor people who thrifted clothes and dumpster dived bc that's all they could afford I'm tired of big corps making "punk" clothes when literally they don't care abt the culture or the ppl in it... punk is diy-ing and or buying small sorry for the rant lmao

im just going to say, i dont think drinking monster is very "punk rock" of people. it frustrates me to no end that such a misogynistic company is the new mascot for alt culture(not even noting that a company shouldn't represent alt/any punk/rock subculture in general. the movements are p anti capitalism when you actually care about what they stand for and the usual stance is consumerism is lame )

that might not make any sense, but here's my little opinion

@gummilud: yeah, I can't really have caffeine bc I have chronic illness and the meds I take clash with caffeine, I have drank monster and used the cans for diy but it doesn't make you any less punk if you don't drink it

okay but like goth is not just for people of fair, pale skin.

Many say in order to be goth you have to light skinned, which I disagree. Goth is literally for anyone who just wants to be a goth, like news flash!!, there are people of color who are goths!! (idk if its a hot take but like Im tired of people saying there cant be goths who are black, hispanic, etc.)

Also you dont have to be skinny to be goth either, like who even made it a requirement? Let people live man!!

Another hot take! You don't have to dress one subculture all the time to be apart of that subculture, also you can dress/be apart of multiple subcultures like me for example i dress and listen to the music of punk, grunge, riot grrrl (which is a part of punk) but I also really like 70s 80s hippie fashion and culture you can be apart of multiple subcultures humans are so diverse almost nobody dresses and feels one way ALL THE TIME you can still be punk if you listen to other types of music as well as punk music
