okay listen, we all seem to not like the vents, or a majority of people but people are mixing vents and rants together and that then makes the people look ridiculous

some people legit have rants about people ranting too much, talking about how you just dont like something is a rant, talking about how something has effected you negatively is a vent- stop grouping them. especially since some people have titles like "i hate how kandi pattern threads are (rant)." rant, you wrote rant IN A RANT ABOUT RANTS. please people can we stop with the repetitive threads of the same information, now rants and vents aren't even clogging the threads, its these threads repeating the same points over and over like a broken record. you want more kandi related threads? make them! kandi can only be so much of a conversation topic before things are repetitive, so people talk about other topics (some people seem to hate its not only about kandi, not a lot but that select few? come on, you're surprised that kids one of your main points are straying from topics. which is a kid thing to do.) can we please chill? im making this cause im tired of putting this on every one of these threads. its getting ridiculous now. its not fun *goop* - slimecicle

plus, like, the vague titles, sure, they are annoying but the repeating threads of them are even more annoying. same with the venting parts of thread, theyre annoying but clogging the stream with "STOP RANTING" "stop venting its so annoying" "STOP BEING VAGUE" etc etc one thread after the other, is also annoying. - jschlatt

@The_Cowboy_Lad: in the active threads alone there are 2-3 (depending on opionions) rants about vents and 1 actual vent but i think it's just an advice one. Chill yall fuckin tits.

Also the constant boosting of these "active" threads, they arent adding anything to the post so should it even count as active? /gen

I am pretty calm about it, I'm just kinda tired of seeing it over and over.

Honestly tho, i keep seeing these posts that are like "stop venting blah blah blah" while i dont see a single vent post it getting annoying. maybe if we all just ignore all of them folks'll stop posting them? idk

some people forget that notes apps exist. dump in notes people!! that way you get it out but don't tell hundreds of mfs online you don't know about all ur issues!! /nm

Uh, idk, this takes kinda weird for me cause like... Vent/vague/rant threads are still abundant- Not as abundant but they're still here- They just don't appear on the "Active threads" side bar, you gotta click "View more" to find them- I found 10 just by going from page 1-3 that were either posted today or yesterday- Hell, there's a vague title thread on the active thread side bar literally right now- Also I feel like the "Kids stray off-topic often, don't complain" is kind of a weak argument cause ya kids stray off-topic a lot but that dosen't mean it's... Good to, lol- I disagree with the "ONLY KANDI CAN BE TALKED ABOUT HERE" thing but idk that point didn't really hold for me personally cause like- Just cause it's a habit dosen't mean it's a good habit, y'know?- :/

I don't normally use tone indicators but I think it's necessary for this paragraph of mine, /nm

exactly,,, i don't wanna make assumptions but these threads almost feel sort of bandwagon-y??? i haven't seen an actual, serious vent on this site in MONTHS, i've only seen stuff like "my friend isn't speaking to me anymore" or "this kid is being mean to me" (not saying these things can bring on extreme negative emotions, when i say "serious vents" i mean stuff like abuse) and yet it feels like all i see in the stream is "OMG STOP VENTING/RANTING GUYZ!!!!!!1!!11!" and then proceeds to rant.

also the amount of people saying stuff like "sToP tAlKiNg AbOuT nOn-KaNdI sTuFf"... what do you think the "other discussions" section is for? crumpet wouldn't have put it as a category if we weren't allowed to talk about stuff that has nothing to do with kandi.

yes i agree that there shouldn't be vents on this site but these threads are useless, aren't solving anything, and quite frankly are starting to get out of hand.

if you want to stop vent threads, then just hit the flag button and be done with it. complaining about publicly it is going to do absolutely NOTHING.

[tl;dr: stop complaining about vents bc they've died down to an extent but whining about it isn't going to solve anything.]
