Mine are:

Scenecore, pastel goth, hippy goth (like a witch aesthetic since I’m a witch hippy goth is similar to the witch aesthetic), Y2k aesthetic, and that’s about it lolz

id say im still oldschool scene/emo ! and id say im a blossoming metalhead :p i need to update my wardrobe more but thats where i participate music/hobbywise lol

@feral_possum i think your thinking of aesthetics. aesthetics are things based on looks, like fashion and Jewlery or idk room decor. Subcultures are sub- cultures, so they involve things like fashion, but have heavier belief and music and interests involved. for example, punk is a subculture because it revolves around political beliefs and includes fashion and music. Goblin/Gremlincore (im not sure of the correct term) is an aesthetic because it revolves around clothes/fashion (i dress like this usually so i know im not just pulling shit outta my ass w this). i dont think most aesthetics have been around long enough to become subcultures.

im trying to start dressing scene IM GOONG 2 THE MALL 2MORROW N IM SUPER EXCITED but sometimes i just dress casual it depends on how i feel , also i don’t know if someone already said this (as theres 130 comments lolz) but scenecore is the music genre and scene is the style /nm

usually my style leans towards emo/scene (or just sweatpants & a hoodie lolz) but when the occasion calls for it or i have more energy i might dress goth, or some sort of vintage goth-ish thingy? idk i dont have a proper term for it lol

@killrocknroll: its not always just about music and beliefs. yes, music and beliefs are a crucial part, but it can also be more style and fashion-wise. subcultures that end in "core" are mainly umbrella terms and are more style and fashioned subcultures. so yes, subcultures that end in "core" are still valid.
