how would i go about this, also where to find metallic beads

i am contemplating on making a wearable kandi crown. i am going to try princess peaches. I was wondering if i could simply put make a regular cuff just on a really big scale then peyote the triangles and attach them, or if i'd have to do a peyote for the whole thing. Also string, I've worked with fishing line and 1mm D elastic cord, is there something else i should use, or should i do a mix so the headpiece is more formfitting and the points are sturdy Also what stores sell metallic gold, blue, and red beads. I would prefer not to buy online because somehow i always get wronged when i order online

I made a princess peach crown for a rave i went to happy I made it out of stars. the 10 beads in the middle were red and blue. I used 4 stars and tired them together like a star cuff. Then I ran a piece of elastic through on bead on both sides and tied it for a head band and then hid that under my hair. I'll post a picture.

I think you've got I good idea of how to do this. I would start with a peyote triangle (like bandana or bikini) and then go down straight, and stich the pieces together. If you really want to go for the shape you could get some wire to reinforce the shape. also to make the "jewels pop more make a sort of 3d bubble and stich them on to the solid crown. Hope I've helped and not confused you more big grin Let me know if you have any more questions.

"heyyamomo" anything would be helpful. I'm just trying to make it out of pony beads not fuse beads. i want something that i can make and it be durable. Leelitheunicorn" i did like your advice but my problem is that i'm a stickler for things looking like what they reference when i make them. Meaning that if i make something 99.9 times it has to be like the reference image, if i were to free-hand something as i'll put it i'll need to make my own sketch, since this is a gift for a princess peach freak i want it to look just right, A star crown sounds neat but i'm thinking thats more for Rosalina from Super Mario Galaxy Honestly i used 1mm elastic and some fishing line but i don't know if i need a 3rd kind of material a mix or one of the ones i've got because the fishing line is durable but painful and hard to tie, the elastic cord can be flimsy so i really don't know what type i should use

I made a mini crown to hang off a princess themed 3D cuff. How I did it was I made a cuff that was the size I wanted it, then I made the peaks where I wanted them. I'll take a picture of it and send it to you if you think you'd want to see it!

No, sorry but i don't want it stars. i want it to be like the image i gave. I don't want the stars because i want it to look like the real peach crown, not like a fake. Its not really for me its for my friend destiny. http://kandipatterns.com/photo-page/elektroween-2/35161 this crown in more of the style i saw the star ones and i don't want that style i'm looking for something more like that but with the image i found for the pattern
