kandi cuff arm/hand sizing ?? help ''OTL

edit: thanks for all suggestions i appreciate it alot =)

i haven't began any kandi cuffs yet and i plan to start soon. im wondering what sizes you all use for cuff circumference specifically ? like how many beads going around so that its a comfortable fit for both wrist/arm + sensory friendly so not too tight or loose.

also is 30 beads a good size for singles? i have small wrists and typical sized arms but when i make smaller kandi (under 30) they feel too tight, or they fit the wrist but don't go down to my arm, and i want them to be able to reach up to the end of my arms before the elbow. thx !

to add: im thinking 30-34 beads across for both cuffs and singles but i'd like to know what you all do too. i want to stack the scene way while it being as comfortable as plastic beads could get if possible. again thx 21.gif

i usually do about 32-34 beads for cuffs and singles. while you're making a single or starting a cuff, try wrapping it around your wrist/arm before tying it off. it'll help you figure out if you need to add or remove beads. ^^

I believe the “standard size” is 30 beads since that’s what many patterns go by on this site. I have small wrists too and they fit pretty well. But if you want to stack your cuffs, you might want to make some bigger ones so they’re not too tight towards your upper arm (or you can string the beads on loosely so the cuff is stretchier). For singles I do anywhere between 25-30 so I can stack them :-)

And like the other comment said, it’s all about trial and error so don’t be afraid to test new methods

ik this is old,

but 30 is good for around your wrist, and add 1 or 2 beads per single or cuff as you go up. (ps kandi is NOT! what makes you scene -__-)

@DEZMOND_DESTRUCTION: they didn’t say they were scene?? They just meant the way scene kids stack their kandi…?

i usually use the "default" 34-ish for larger cuffs! depending on how tight I tie my string singles can be from 25-34

@DEZMOND_DESTRUCTION: just because kandi doesn't MAKE you scene doesn't mean that scene kids don't wear kandi, like, all the fucking time. don't be an elitist.
