i am SOOOO into the maze runner trilogy rn !!! i got into outsiders smp, which is an MCYT smp based off the maze runner, and I watched it not knowing what the maze runner was, but then, at this bookfair my school had, they had the first maze runner book so i was lik 'hey, i liked that one smp, maybe i should read the maze runner!' so i bought it and i LOVEDDDD the first book !!! i was super sad i didnt have the other two books BUT i remembered my ela teacher from last year rly liked the maze runner and she has the WHOLE SERIES for the kids to read !!!! so i borrowed book 2 & 3 from her !!!

i finished the last book in the series today during my study hall and i CRIED . I WAS BALLING MY EYES OUT . i literally was having a breakdown over newt's death bc i was super attached to newt and newtmas (newt x thomas) is my comfort ship atm so the way newt begged thomas to kill him made me CRY so hard bc its like ( MY BOYS ((( and the way they described thomas's greive after newt died rly showed just how much newt actually meant to him even tho h hadnt realized it and i was just so sad it made me so sad. and THEN THEY KILLED OF TERESA FOR NO REASON???? LITERALLY HER DEATH WAS SO RUSHED AND THEY LITERALLY JSUT ADDED IT LAST MINUTE AND IT WAS SO POINTLESS !!!!!!! THEY KILLED LITERALLY ONE OF THE ONLY TWO GIRL CHARACTERS THAT WERE MAIN CHARACTERS FOR NO REASON AT ALL !!!! it wasnt even for like thomas's character development, THEY KILLED HER LTIERALLY IN THE LAST CHAPTER OF THE BOOK !!!! THE LAST FEW PAGES !!!! IT WAS SO UNNECESSARY !!!! THEY KILLED HER FOR NO REASON AND THEN DIDNT EVEN HAVE THE CHARACTERS GRIEVE THAT MUCH !!!! im so mad at how they just killed her off for no reason literally in the last book in the last few pages too it was so unneeded bro.
