how is it so hard to stop supporting problematic people?? just stop watching their content?? like ffs yall give any excuse to support people who have done shitty things.

honestly it could be different for many people as some people really cannot stop as if its like a literal obsession with the person. doesnt mean they cant stop over time. like for some people its hard but for others it may be really easy. I fall in between like when ssniperwolf was found making transphobic comments i was hurt and all but her videos gave me an odd sense of like comfort. ik ssniperwolf isnt the best example but bear with me pls. even a few months ago i cicked on some of her videos and i very well knew of what she did. I wanted to feel that comfort but after a while i started to stop. first by unsubbing or unfollowing her on anything and blocking the accounts so her videos wouldnt appear anymore or simply clicking "not interested". then i started doing research on the other youtubers i liked to make sure they werent toxic or problematic whatever like that. that is what i would recommend to everyone who is having this problem of liking someone who is any of the sort problematic or toxic/gen /nm /pos
