ill go first when i was 6-8 my special interest was the Ms. America pageants. I could name all the contestants and what they wore, I knew the scandals and everything like that. it was wild.

old manuscripts like the codex gigas and the voynich manuscript. also several religious manuscripts. (but not in a "i am religious" way just in a "wow this is so old and neat" way)

When I was in middle school I tried to fit in with the future incels s of course I had to watch Pewdiepie and love Elon Musk

That pretending soon formed into an actual hyper fixation and it took like a year to break myself from it

Former fixation (but still a source of curiosity) was decay. Decomposition, how bodies and other things break down, the chemical processes, etc. etc. Very gross, very humbling, very interesting, and very, very weird. It was mostly during last year, but I know that it's happened before in my teenage and youth (don't remember exacts though).

not 100% sure these were hyperfixations specifically, but its likelY- either way, ive gotten fixated on specifically fleece blanket making several times over the past 3 or so yearS-

I was hyperfixated on mental disorders or illnesses for a while (Alice In Wonderland Syndrome, DID, Cotard’s Syndrome, etc.) it was only for a month and a half though, but it was still a weird hyperfixation.
