typing quirks (rant)

i'm going to say something people might get mad over, but a lot of typing quirks are annoying.

i want to know what you have against using the right letters. why do you use numbers in place of letters? like, i can understand doing it for a username, link, etc, but everytime you type something? do you know how hard that is to read, especially to people who have reading disabilities like myself? what do you have against the letter s?

i can understand people who don't use capital letters. i can understand those who don't use commas unless it's serious. that doesn't mess with reading comprehension and word processing. replacing letters with other characters does.

idk. i don't have anything else to add. i just wanted to rant about this and get it out of my system.

omg the you would’ve hate the scene queens when MySpace was still a thing. Numbers and random characters everywhere. (As someone who has attempted to type like that) scared

So i belive in typing quirks are just a fun way of expressing yourself, so if someone has a typing quirk and you can read it, just ask for a translation.

stop fr i legit cannot stand when people use z instead of s like if someone with a typing quirk was to type my name as "zophia" i would want to die

i definitely get it but i just dont read the post if its too difficult, especially cause its not common for someone to use a writing quirk anyways

Ya I agree with replacing numbers with letters. I do use things like "Tho" or "ur" because their easier to type out and I guess its become a habit thumbsup

..if there isn't a translation you can literally just ask them for one tho?? like i understand where you're coming from but just asking for a translation (in a RESPECTFUL way) would probably solve most if not all of these problems /nbr

i mean, it doesn't hurt anyone unless it makes it almost impossible to read. if it really bugs you, just ask them to stop! i hope this helps-
