ay peeps, i call myself alt and more specifically indie and emo. (tho i got a lotta stuff goin on lmao)

but for emo music the bands i like are: mcr, pierce the veil, sometimes panic at the disco, get scared (idk if they totally count as emo but i kinda count em) and yea. (plus my style do be emo or indie depending on days)

anyway do i count as emo?

(or do i needa find another band or sm-)

(aaa fuck yeah, love set it off, 2019 me was like "this my emo band" later learns they were pop punk and now theyre alternative ig?)

i'd say you count. I'm personally scenemo or a mix of scene and emo. I reccomend falling in reverse though. it's so good.

technically those are emo bands, although i wouldnt say that recent ptad is emo. also, the front bottoms are not emo,, more like indie rock
and of course, a person can enjoy emo music and not be emo,, so like in my opinion,, to be emo you have to know at least more than 10 bands,, and be aware of all the emo culture,, an all that jazz...

although,, i wouldnt be too worried about labels. just listen to what you like dude!!!! but if u want some emo band suggestions lmk i can totally help u out broseph
