I got into it when I heard Quackity had joined the SMP and it was honestly very fun to see content creators interact, the lore was interesting to me, the fanart and theories people made were cool. Plus I needed something to do during quarantine (about the same time I joined this site, actually!)

But I started to leave the fandom when half of the content creators ended up being problematic and the fandom started getting really toxic and weird, I kind of didn't want to be associated with those guys anymore. I still watched some lore streams from CC's who weren't really involved in any of the bad stuff, and If I wanted to catch up on lore from the others I would just watch VODs from fans to not support the problematic CC's

I don't watch any Minecraft stuff now other than the QSMP

as someone who used to like the dsmp, i liked the lore & certain creators whi were in it. i feel out of the fandom & dont watch anyone from it anymore bcuz i dont like the content anymore, i still watch minecraft vids but i was things like ESMP, WitchCraftSMP, & the Life SMP series. who all have my comfort MCYT Dangthatsalongname(Scott Smajor)

cuz ppl in the dsmp community/fandom, seem to commonly be interested in kandi/scene culture (i dunno why, but ive noticed that its common lol)

@Bloodborne: Im not saying, that giving a problematic platform isn't hurting anyone.

That is just a general state meant,

If something, or someone, Is not hurting anyone, or themselves, Then it's not a big deal.

But, yes. DMSP Is a problematic platform, and yes. It does hurt people. But some people like DMSP. And it's not my job to make people like things or dislike things. That is their choice, not mine. Like I said. Im not the police. lol
