why do some people with the best content make the worst decisions /gen

do they just not want to b known as a good person? want no one to watch/listen/view their content? like this is a genuine question, I cant come up with any theory as to why some of the funniest/most reliable/ppl with good content in general would want to ruin their reputation...

this is mostly bc I'm finding out jimmy urine is a racist p3do, and I never knew, and I love molly n f4aggot, like,, why

I don't want to support people that have been problematic but like why do they have to have such good content

Cavetown: some people found Twitter posts from when he was like 12-13 saying tr4nny so everybody thought he was transphobic, the backlash towards him got so bad that he had to out himself as trans, which nobody knew before and didn’t want anybody to even know
