the trans struggles thread inspired me to make this

i'm nd (adhd/ddd) and i stim when i get surprised

i also stim when i'm focused

during study halls this leads to increasingly startled stims for like 4 minutes straight

it's lowkey funny ngl

anyways share ur nd struggles too!

adhd moment omg

edit: will be adding more as i think of them

- i often become what i call "no thoughts head empty" or "brain static" which is when my mind is just 100% blank. it makes wii music or microwave noises. it is an empty white room. absolutely no thoughts. nothing makes sense when i'm in this state and it's frustrating lol

- i also stim a lot like constantly. CONSTANTLY. i ALWAYS need to have some sort of stimulation.

- i often get frustrated and very very stressed easily so i will literally just sit there freaking out like FREAKING THE EFF OUT and my dad gets mad at me for it when he knows i can't help it :-|

- i physically recoil when j touch / have to feel the ice chopping board. it's so scratchy and disgusting i just ?:?$!_?'!_?!'!$?# /neg

- i sometimes cannot understand or process what is being said on tv without subtitles. EVEN IF i have seen the episode / movie countless times.

- i have tics (?????) sometimes and i usually jerk my neck / my head to the side and sometimes it hurts it's very fun (/s)

- i flap my hands as a stim very often. ESPECIALLY when i watch a video of my favorite band members or of my other hyperfixations. they just make me so happy hfjfhfhffhhfdb /pos !!!!!!!!!

- right before i got diagnosed with adhd / got tested for it my mom discovered via my teacher that she had sat me in the corner of the classroom so as not to deal with me because i was the weird one..... yeah that explained my adhd a lot. /hj

- i have recently started chewing on the collar of my shirts as a stim ?? kinda embarrassing seeing as how i'm 19 but i can't help it
