Do you wear your kandi purses, backpacks, clutches, whatever out in public?

Not meaning kandi bracelets. i never wear a bunch in public. but i do sometimes use my kandi purses. and everytime i do, i recieve wide eyed stares from different people. i'm not saying i mind but if you saw someone with a bright kandi purse, does it send out that vibe "HEY LOOK AT ME IM A RAVER!"? like, that's the vibe i get when i see kids wearing kandi sleeves and fluffies in broad daylight. i have a kandi purse that has a desert pattern, and it's colors and everything just scream SUMMER, and i think it would look so cute. i'm going on vacation soon, and wondering if i should bring it. i know what some of you may think or say, that i should not care what others think, and wear whatever i want, but i can't help but to wonder how i am presenting myself to the world. haha when i used my HUGE pikachu kandi tote as a backpack sophmore year i mostly got asked how i made it...few peaple asked if i was a raver.

"Steffazi": I wear my backpacks around all the time =D I took my first one with me to the caribbean and used it to put my camera in. Most people just saw it as creative no one ever mentioned anything about it being a rave item aww cool! i'm not even going out of country i'l still be here in California. Lol, so much for a "vacation".

"Rawr_Robin": I have a small kandi bag, but I rarely wear it in public. I get paranoid that it could break anytime. :S well, my belief is that if your kandi (of any kind) feels like it can brake, it needs improvement. i always make sure all my kandi (from cuffs, to wallets, to purses, backpacks, even kandikinis) is at least 95% brake-proof.

i take my hello kitty rainbow leopard clutch EVERYWHERE. the way i see it i put my heart soul and sweat into that bag and i am really proud of it so i want the world to see it. even if the do judge me. its worth it.

lol, that remided me of a time i used my kandi purse and a homeless guy said he knows Sheryl Crow (a singer) and to make 1 for her, he'll send i and i'll become famous! crazy guy, lol.

I have a kandi covered back pack that I wear everywhere I'm also almost finished a full kandi bag which just needs a strap...I personally don't think I'll use it unless I'm in full raver clothes...but I'll just have to wait and see...just because it's neon rainbow and Pikachu.

i think you should go for it! kandi helps to express who you are and you should not be afraid to show the world! everyone is probably jealous that they aren't as talented haha
