Peyote Charms/ Peyotes

Beck 1/13/2013 01:42 pm 2032

In a previous question I was calling them an odd-ball name until Crumpet told me the actual term. Anyways, are there any good tips or things to keep in mind when making a charm with a more complicated shape or of your own design?

Thank you very much. I did what KandiKittie said when I made my first charm. It's large for a charm though so I guess it'd be just a peyote. It was of my own design and was pretty simple except for one part where I had to play with the beads to get it the way I wanted.

I agree with kandikittie, but i would also like to say this....out of all the odd peyotes, dont bother with the peyote pac man....it is NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE no matter where you start!!!!!

The only thing I personally suggest...which is something I use when making an odd shaped peyote is when you start, start at the widest part across...ad you don't have to do this, but it works for me...if there are 2 or more wide parts I suggest making the peyote in parts then tying it all together...once again, you don't have to but it works for me.
