Do I have tics or am I faking it?

So I've been randomly like cracking my neck kind of motion followed by the clicking of my tongue, as well as my body and hands jerking. I don't know if these are tics developing or not??? Like I can't tell if I'm doing these things on purpose subconsciously or not?

@urloverboy: sometimes my head will smack on my desk too when my head jerks, i've like busted my head open and everything and my mom's still like, "quit faking loser."

im pretty sure your not faking buddy cuz like someone else said faking tics is a conscious decision that youd know you made and since your not sure its very likely your not faking

if you're worried you're faking it, you probably aren't, but like others in the comments have said, you should talk to a doctor about it if you can

i thought i was faking my tics for so long but then i realize, ow it hurts when i slam my hand on my desk, i definitely would not choose to do that. I also definitely would not purposefully yell tltties in a kwik trip, so I'm definitely not faking it. Its best to talk to a doctor, but its very likely you're not faking it

well usually if you're worried that you're faking something, you probably aren't! faking something is a conscious decision, so if you didn't wake up one day and go "i think i want to fake having tics" then you're not faking!

i have this thing where my body will just shake randomly, but i'm not sure if its ticks or not. if you can, i would recommend talking to a doctor.

My neck will jerk violently and sometimes i cant control my hand movements, I told my mom and she said i was faking it and screamed at me. they still happen but all the time but she gets madder and madder. idk if im faking it or not tho

if you have to think about if you are faking them or not, you most likely aren't faking them. i feel like the way i worded this doesnt makes sense, so lease tell me if it doesnt.
