trumpet players help

okay so i play bass clarinet and i wanna play trumpet for jazz band since everything else has too many people, and i need to know how difficult playing trumpet actually is because my friend is probably just sugarcoating it for me(he plays trumpet).

and my band class starts in like 15 minutes(10:34) so any fast responses are appreciated 513b39525d246_dance.gif

i played a little bit in 6th grade and it was hard for me at least but it gets better after a while-

it was the first instrument out of like 6 that I play, so it was p hard, but if you know treble clef and have played an instrument b4, you should be able to figure it out p quickly if you work hard :0
