Jobs and Kandi?

So I've heard people say things about how they can't wear kandi because of their job, and I was wondering: Are there any types of jobs where it's okay if you wear kandi?

Like everyone else..... depends on your boss. I would keep it simple though and nothing offensive. At a bead or craft store I say yes wear it, its a great why to sell beads. Most places do what you to look professional now days, and would probably frown on the big cuffs. People are boring. happy

There's a bead store that's really close to my house, and they said that if I wanted a summer job, I could work there and wear my beads as much as I felt like (as long as it didn't have anything inappropriate on it), and my grandparents offered me a job at their shop when my family moves back to Michigan, and I could wear a few singles and a cuff or something while working. I think if you REALLY wanted to wear your kandi at your job, you'd have to know the people there, or at least have a nice little reputation. That, or your kandi really fits the area (like a bead store.)

I used to work at McDolnald's and they didn't mind me wearing kandi. I know it's against the health code, but they don't seem to care here.

Basically: Some jobs: it's okay to wear kandi. All careers: it's not okay to wear kandi.

if you work in an office, i guess it depends on your boss or what you do. My friends mom works in an office, but can't wear the kandi he made her because it gets in the way of her typing, but my other friend's mom does. Also, if you get a job at a place like hottopic or clare's or zummies they pretty much let you do anything. if you work at ambercrombie or something you may want to wear stuff they approve of as "trendy", but if you are a lawyer, i would suggest none

Well im sure theres a lot that alow it but in my opinion kandi at work would be inapropiate

i wear it to Walmart i get lots of compliments from my customers i check out. Also lots of how do you do that. although there was a rude guy asking if i used those to cover up my tattoos

depends on where you are. Office work is a no, hospital could be a yes if your like a volunteer or something, it just varies is all, ask whereever you apply to their stance
