heating pad for da win!!!

Decided I was gonna keep forum posts on the general topic of kandi but sewing is creative so I think it's in the realm

I sewed a heating pad! If anyone is thinking of doing this, I'd totally recommend. It's pretty easy and plus... warm. I'd only do this with cotton tho because some fabrics are kinda yk... plastic and i wouldn't want it to melt in the microwave.

@Moon9: yep yep! I put it in for about like 2-3 minutes. I forgot to mmention but it'll be a bit damp from the steam so idk if choosing a thicker fabric would prevemt that

@Moon9: Rice! I recommend rice that isn't fragrant or ur whole house will smell like it.

I actually like the forum posts outside of kandi that feature other crafts, bc I do alot of other crafts myself and it's cool to get ideas, what do u put inside the heating pad and how do you heat it up?/gen

@annek: I'd totally recommend it! I didn't do anything fancy cuz it was just an experiment, but i've seen some cool patterns.

AHH yes diy warmie bc of how expensive they are big grin

i actualy used to just get a sock and fill it up with rice but i think itd be fun to sew my own little stuffed animal and stuff xP i'll probably do this some day!rainbowsmile
