How do you make a kandi beanie? I'm a little confused...

There's a lot of ways to make a kandi beanie. There's a lot of freedom in how you want to do it. I first made a flower cuff large enough to fit around my head. I made a complex star for the top of my beanie and connected it all with x-base and what I believe is ladder stitch.

There's a couple of ways to do it. It's completely up to you. Most common, though, I've seen it star out with a simple kandi star. From there, some people go with an x-base approach and add 5 beads around, then 6 in the next row, and it just continuously gets bigger. The other way I've seen it done is making a single of like 10-20 beads. Then make a multi stitch cuff big enough to fit around your head. From there, you string beads(I'm not sure how many, but probably I'm guessing in the 20-40 range?) and tie the single to the multi. I hope this helps!
