Am I faking tics?

So this is kind of an arbitrary question, but I've been wondering if I'm somehow "faking" my tics. I've had them for years and years, and now with all of those people on social media faking them, I feel like maybe my whole life I've been faking my tics. Is it tics, or could it be a symptom of another disorder, or is it something different altogether?

I believe there is a thing called anxiety tics, which is ticcing but its a result of you being anxious or scared, but I’m not an expert. if your questioning if you’re faking it or not you probably aren’t faking, so I would just talk to a doctor about it

to fake something you have to be constantly aware that you’re faking it, like "oh wow, i’m so glad people are believing i have this thing that i don’t actually have!"

questioning if you’re faking something means that you probably aren’t faking it!!
