anyone know how to secure or keep kandi from snapping more easliy?

I've been reading some stories about it happening to people and I'm paranoid

Large cuffs like 3D cuff usually take care of themselves because all the stringing you have to do to build them up makes them stronger. Also using multiple surgical knots to tie them off helps to keep them strong. For singles you could always double string instead of using one string. use cloth string if you can. That’s all I can think of right now lol

I like quadruple tie it and then super glue the knots. Also use higher quality strings like everyone said. I'm so original right

I put clear nail polish over all the knots I make and I also tie the string like 4 times just in case. It has worked really well for me so far & you should be ok if you are gentle with your kandi

get fabric covered elastic it never snaps unless ur like, pulling it w the intention of snapping it lmao

if u use good quality elastic string the chances of it snapping is rlly low ! but if u use clear string the knot slips easily so i would suggest tying a double knot and then doing a surgical knot ! ( i also like tying another double knot over the surgical knot , but u don't have to ) i hope this helps !!!
