how many beads do i need for my skirt?

I'm a 31 inch waist and I want it to be about 5-10 inches long. I'm not sure on length yet. Plz help?

Honesty it depends on if you want a waist belt and what type of beads you're using

I would string a single line of beads and see how many it takes to go around your waist...making sure it's still a bit tight so the skirt doesn't fall down. I hope this helped.
