pet names r so cute, even when just using them with friends. but 2 important things that need to be said

1: ask what petnames someone prefers before you start calling them it, because it might make them uncomfortable and they may be too scared to say something about it, at least asking gives them the chance to say no

2: Normalize calling boys feminine petnames, and calling girls masculine petnames!! petnames are adorable and for everyone to use!!

and ofc because enbys are so powerful, they already get all the petnames but whether they use a feminine, masculine, or neutral petname, that doesn't make them any less non-binary!! (this also applies to agender, genderfluid, and other-gendered folks!!)
