3D beading - animals?

Hey all, I have this idea for a kandi project for someone special, and I want to make a 3D bee to put on it. Anyone have any suggestions on how to do this or links to tutorials?

If you look at my pictures you'll see I've made Pikachu and Bulbasaur from a pokeball pattern. It would work for a bee if you put the colors in the right place
