Using a Peyote Stitch Instead of Multistitch for Cuff Patterns?

So i know you use multistitch for cuffs but I was wondering if it was also possible to use a peyote stitch or something?
what do you peeps think? have you done that before? ??????

I tried to but it's really hard to do, after a bit I just gave up and made up my own pattern.

using a peyote stitch for a multistitch pattern is great for a flat panel, i've made a few kandi bags that way, but i would NOT recommend it for a cuff. try looking at some patterns made for peyotes instead

I used to not know that cuff patterns were for multistitch, so I just used peyote stitch and while yeah, it does work and make something it generally doesn’t look the best and trying to tie it together is really difficult and looks a bit messy when it’s done, so overall I wouldn’t recommend doing it lol :33

It would work but I don't see there being a clean way to tie it

I think a peyote stitch will work just fine for cuffs, I think the only difference is tying it at the end
