How to do a square stitch?

I know how to do a peyote stitch, but I'm not sure how to make a square stitch. Are there any tutorials?

Sounds really confusing, fuse beads sounds like an easier way.

I personally don't like using square stitch because it's very time-consuming and uses a lot of string. There are plenty of tutorials around the internet teaching you how to do it though. A quick Google search for square stitch tutorial brings up a lot of results happy If you don't like any of the tutorials you find, there's an "alternate" method you could try: http://www.beadedpatterns.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=404_409 With that one ^ it looks like you add on 4 beads at a time, unlike normal square stitch where you add one at a time. I haven't tried it myself though so I can't guarantee that it's better or easier.
