"swag" is just a way of describing something you are not compleatly confident in. If you havent noticed, the ppl in this world that say things like "this shirt is so swag, you know you are jealous." happen to be the ones who worry WAY too much what others think. Kandi kids dont give a darn what others think, and use their kandi to express it. If your friend is worried you are trying to steal their "swag" what they are really saying is that they are worried you might ruin their self value by attracting as much attention as them. This may sound rude, but your friend may have some self-issues if they are worried that much that you like to express yourself in an inventive way they taught. Dont listen to them. If it makes you happy and you enjoy doing it dont let other people get you down. I let that happen to me when I was still in High School and I COMPLETELY changed how I was because of it. I no longer enjoy making kandi, and I dont want that to happen to anyone else, so hold your head up and dont let it get to you like I did.

Tough to give you an accurate answer but I think that you're not. They didn't invent kandi so how are you stealing from them? You're not, you're just new to the culture and in due time they'll probably realize that and if they continue to be hateful maybe you should make some new friends
