Try updating your profile and interacting more on the site. There are greater restrictions on forum comments due to spam. Spam comments will still not be published, even for verified accounts

There are no official rules or filters for cuss words, only the worst slurs. However, we don’t want any cuss words or mature themes on published patterns, because a lot of people just use the site for patterns (without interacting with the forums) and may not want to see that kind of language
