Okay so I have HORRIBLE focus but my tried and true method of being able to focus while reading is: full up an audiobook of the book you're reading in one tab. Volume as high as you want it. And then music with no words in another tab, I usually listen to lofi hip hop but you can listen to any instrumentals. And then you turn that down to where you can just hear it and then. You follow along and read. That's what usually solves it for me

i find that reading is easier when i have someone to do it with!! maybe you could try calling with a friend and doing popcorn reading with them? that way you have someone to hold you accountable and have someone to talk about the book with! i read a midsummer nights dream and animal farm when i was in school and i found that they were really fun and interesting books. i hope this helps!
