Tips on trying/getting into Age Regression (coping mechanism)

So I really want to try out age regressing as a coping mechanism because sometimes I find myself acting in like an age regressing way when I get really stressed or smt and I need to calm down. I don’t know how my parents will feel about it though but also I don’t really know where to start, so if anyone has any tips or small things I could try out first to see if age regression might help me that would be much appreciated >3

try watching kids shows and movies !!!!!

sleeping with stuffies and naming them and giving them persoanlitiess ! its so fun and it helps me slip in to little space fast, also coloring books, finding a caregiver (if you needed one) would be a good first step

Biggest tip: Relax into it. Don't let yourself worry about how you'll be viewed or if you'll get caught! I know that's tough, but when those thoughts do come up try reframing them! ex: "People will think it's weird" to "It's okay to be different, it helps me calm down and thats what matters." As well, finding a tag on social media you feel fits you is extremely helpful for me. Looking through agere/petre tags on tumblr or instagram always helps a ton when im having trouble regressing.

I love little space hypnosis videos, they just kind of talk to you like a child and it always works for me. I tend to regress when sleepy so getting something comfy on and grabbing a stuffie helps too!
