How did you find out about kandi?

i love reading peoples stories! this is mine :3 i was on tiktok in like 5th grade and I found this person wearing a bunch of kandi so I researched it and made a bunch lol.

I’m a cosplayer & a lot of cosplayers that I rlly like wore kandi for their cosplays & I also thought it was just really kewl so I go beads & string & started mailing it :0

saw this really swaggy person on tiktok, tey were showing how to make kandi stars and like i though that it was really cool so i started making kandi.

i saw some people on tik tok using it on their cosplays so i thought i should make it for a couple of my cosplays also making kandi looked so fun so i had to make it.

i saw ppl on tiktok wearing singles, and so i started making them. and then i saw tiktoks with ppl wearing the flower bracelets and so i looked up how to make them, and stumbled upon a kandi peyote cuff tutorial

my stepsister is a raver, so she got me into making singles!! i then stumbled upon kandi tiktok, where i saw people making cuffs and bigger things and i thought it was the coolest, so i learned how!!!

im pretty sure i was like at a mall or something, and there was this suuuper cool person with all kinds of cuffs n necklaces and i thought it was so cool, i asked them what it was, i looked it up when i got home, and ive been making kandi ever since :^)

it was june 2020, i was really getting into scenecore, I stumbled across it during a video i was watching, and decided to make some myself. I stopped for a few months and picked it back up again in November. Ive been making kandi ever since. happy

someone in a discord server im in shared
a picture of the kandi necklace they made
for their webkinz plushie and i thought it
was really cute and a great idea (they had
spelled their plushie's name with letter
beads and i have so many webkinz plushies
i sometimes forget their names so this would
help me remember). i asked what kind of
elastic they used and they told me they get
their kandi supplies from the dollar store. i
didnt know what kandi was so i googled it,
the rest is history! C:

I was making a ladder cuff and didn't know what it was and my aunt told me that it looked like the stuff they wear to raves and now I'm herehappy
