Perler bead help/tips?

Has anyone have any tips or advice for perler beads? Finding them a bit difficult!

if ur perler art is bigger, glide the iron SLOWLY across the parchment paper until its evenly melted. if its small, you can leave just leave it on the perler art (DONT LEAVE THE ROOM WITH IT ON!!!! YOU HAVE TO MONITOR IT IF UR DOING THAT) before you do any big melting, put it on for a little just so that the beads stick together, then, check if any of the beads have fallen on their side, and if they have, put them right side up. wait till its cooled to take it off the pegboard. dont burn urself!!!

@xXgUmMy_WoRmXx: OK so the main problems I'm having is the beads looking weird (specifically a one I did today where it bubbled up and distorted????? To say it best???), the beads moving from their place when ironing it and there still being small holes in them plus technically is only my second time doing perler beads so I do think I still need to practice more but I definitely need help lol

when i started doing perler stuff, i found that using a regular sized iron was a bit difficult so i got a smaller iron meant for craft stuff!! u can still use it for ironing/steaming clothes too ^_^ also-- make sure your iron isnt too hot!! it'll distort the shape of the beads in a weird way. and of course practice makes perfect!!

DONT USE WAX PAPER!!!! Use ironing paper or parchment paper when ironing cuz the wax paper will get stuck to the beads and will make it look gross >.<
