How do you make a kandi gas mask?

I'm extremely confused on how to make a kandi gas mask. I've seen some really cool and interesting ones, but I really want to learn how to make one myself. Help please?

i made panels and stitched them together as i shaped it as i went. then i made some small multi cuffs and attached them to the mask form. then either make a modified star or a plug from perler beads. then stitch them on the end of the tube.
