How long is the string suppose to be for cuffs?

I am new at this and I recently made two but cut and tied each row without making one long string and other websites say not to do that... so if anyone can give me an idea of how long to make the string it would be much appreciated!

It depends on your preference. You could just tie it off every row. For example, if you had a 15 row cuff, there would be 15 pieces of string.

this is such a bad question to ask not because it's stupid or anything but because you'll get 43524564563456 answers and they'll all be different! it really depends on your preference there's no right or wrong way to do it!

well u culd do that just tie the knot inside the cuff so itz less visible what i do is ill start making it then when it cuufs or sstands i tie it usually its the 3rd layer then after im done what ill do is string just the string around one more time then tie it ive never had a cuff break on me and i use bead n streatch hope this helps have a good day

i do not use one continuous string for the simple reason that if it breaks it ALL breaks, and if you do it string by string, you can still salvage what is left.

There really isn't a "right" or "wrong" way of making kandi, just so long as it doesn't fall apart and it doesn't get in the way of the beads

P.S. There isn't really a right or wrong way of doing it. If you prefer to tie off after each row, do it. I just personally think it looks better and is safer to have as few knots as possible. Other people disagree and think having multiple strings is safer, lol.

I just use a piece of string that's as long as I'm comfortable working with, then tie more string on if I need it (using 3 knots). I've never had any cuffs break on me. I use the fabric-like elasticated string btw.
