What is the best type of string to use to make a kandikini?

I am guessing fishing line, but what size?

I've made several with stretch magic, and haven't had any problems. I've worn one 5 or 6 times, but I do use the 1mm stuff, and I should mention that I string my kandi really tightly, so it hardly stretches. Others use the thinner stuff, but I would never feel comfortable doing so, I'd be super scared of it breaking.

I have made one with stretch magic but I am regretting it because it is close to breaking, I have started making another with Harpoon line (dont ask me where to get it I stole it from my dad) but that is flexible but really strong I trust it wont break any time soon

I use fishing line because I have alot of sibblins that like to tugg on things. if you dont have that problem, then I would go with strech string, but the kind that has the fabric braded over it. If you use cear trech string it breaks easily and streches out to the point where you have to go back and remake the whole thing.

You can use fishing line, but I wouldn't suggest it. If you do use a low lbs weight like 8 or 10. The fishing line makes it to stiff and they usually don't form to your body. Try to find a nice strong elastic.
