how do you make a kandi beanie?

I keep on trying but it just keeps messing up and not fitting my head

I always start from the bottom because then I know it will fit my head. Then I just kinda deal with the top as it goes.

just kepp going and adding it took 9 on each side to fit my friends head and shes like 11 so just keep sizing up until it gets to where u think it looks ok then if u need mor length but dont want it to go out further do the previous layer again so if that number is 9 on each side do 9 on each side again hope this helps big grin mssge me for more help if u need it big grin

I make a star and i keep ondoubling the beads and it is like 3 then 5 then7 and so on on each point
