do you use the string on every pattern on the web site???

Multi stitch and peyote stich use string. Fuse or perler beads dont! Perler (fuse) beads are special beads that melt together. You put them on a peg board, put a sheetof wax or ironing paper on top then iron them until they are melted together. Hope this helped!!
