How do you guys choose random beads for things?

As title says. I'm a horribly linear thinker, and I like organization and clear patterns. My brain refuses to understand randomization. I'd like to just make random singles or something with mixes/floor beads (beads that have yeeted themselves and get cleaned up later), but I have no gift for just pulling stuff and letting it remain random. I was toying with the idea of getting like a gumball vending machine or something where I'd just put the bead mix inside, turn the handle, and just make stuff out of whatever comes out. I've also seen ideas in the vein of "roll for sandwich" where people have categories, and a d20 (or whichever number) and pick things based on how it rolls.

So how do you guys pull random beads?

Thanks so much you guys for all of your input! I have some things to try now when I get stuck wanting to do something rando

Also sorry for the hit and run comment, and not replying to each of you individually which is what I'd like to do, but I don't have much time today *cries* I'd so much rather be wasting time on here and playing with my beads but ya know, work and adult stuff blaaaahhhhhhh

I number and label each color and the brand I got it from for repurchasing and budgeting, so when I’m bored/don’t know what to do I’ll use a number gen and use what I get for singles. Maybe a similar method of labeling would work for you?
