oh em gee i love concept albums. the who's tommy was the first one i was really aware of, and i currently own two different versions of the album!! it's super cool, and is actually about to open on broadway as a musical!!! that also got me really into pinball. fun fact - despite the song 'pinball wizard' referencing the now out-of-business bally company (well, it merged with midway and i think it's bally-midway now), the movie uses two old gottlieb tables for that scene!! and they had to modify roger daltrey's, as according to the internet pinball database the kings and queens machine can only calculate up to 1,999 points. tommy has some similar themes to another super cool concept album/rock opera, pink floyd's the wall. there's an awesome theme of a cyclical mentality, as the first song on the album (in the flesh?) and the last song (outside the wall) have a shared line of dialogue that starts on the last song and ends on the first. they're both pretty anti-war (roger waters and pete townshend i love you) and spark some awesome thoughts about how victims are treated based on how they react to their situations (tommy vs pink).

I've been wanting to rant about this for so long but AAAA LEAUGE OF LEGENDS ON NETFLIX! I have never played the game but the character designs and Jinx and Silco's father/daughter relatationship!? I love it ssssmmmmm!!! Also random facts:

it isn't like a specific character either, it's just like all dragons from any type of media. Im not entirely sure why I like them so much, but they bring me so much comfort and joy. It honestly makes me sad that dragons don't exist, but it's probably a good thing considering how powerful they are. One thing i've loved growing up, and still do, is the HTTYD series. some of my favorite HTTYD dragon species are Nightfuries, skrills, Triple Strykes, Hobblegrunts, and Monstrous nightmares, and BoneKnappers. (just a few of them because i honestly like them all)

Punch out!!! it got a brief cameo in the mario movie but not many people were talking about it. The arcade cabinet was one of the first to utilize two monitors, one for the fight and the other for health bar and stats, and the wire frame player model so you could still see your opponent. The way that the developers of the NES game got around sprite restrictions was by composing each boxer of multiple sprites, and since they couldn't do the wire frame model method again, they shrunk down the player, thus creating "little mac". The SNES games created so many new opponents with amazing designs and fighting styles. The SNES game also used an invisible "dizzy meter," which means you could delever rapid punches to fill the meter so one more punch to the face would result in a knockout every time.
