as Skrillette said i do not think silver would hold up to well. Metalic pony beads from what ive seen and read tend to loose paint. Assuming like most metalic pony beads that is silver paint it will flake off. Traditionally pony beads are colored in the production process so the plastic it's self is colored all the way through. In the case of translucent beads they increase the ratio of plastic to color to give it a solid yet see through color blend (which is what i think those also are). Metalic beads have to have an outer paint to give it that look and sadly that rubs off easier, and the quality on it is generally already lower. (i've gotten bags where the beads have been missing paint and some have simply rubbed parts off) so i recommend possibly a nude colored undergarment attached to the cups. Otherwise try a different color or style of bead

I think it would look totally rad! I don't know if the silver would hold up though.
