my page reloaded just as i was about to comment !! i'm gonna rewrite it tho, cuz i have nothing better to do.

my favourite genre isn't technically a genre, but it's the general style of j-division music projects (more specifically paradox live and hypnosis microphone, although i also really like handead anthem and i've dipped my toes into fragaria! ~~why isnt there a better phrase for that..~~)

anyways, my favourite of the genre is hypnosis microphone, for more than a billion reasons. the main one, though, is how many damn styles they've got in it. they have old-school hiphop, they have showa-era pop, they have vkei and they have blues. there's lots of music samples and general references to real-world music, it really makes me respect the creators and the effort that goes into it.

they also have a lot of popular producers working on it! REOL and GIGA (yes, the vocaloid producers) made femme fatale, EVE (the popular singer) made gentaro's block party song, not to mention tophatman-kyo (who's slightly less popular, but definitely impressive!!)

the voice actors (seiyuus) are also really impressive, the cast is huge and it's so awesome. also! the art is amazing!!

my personal favourite songs are white to black by amayado rei and jyuto iruma (which uses showa-style pop and a little bit of jazz to make a song about using corrupt methods to get to a good goal), get busy by harai kuko and yamada jiro (reminds me of waka waka by shakira LOL), and break the wall by ichiro yamada (which is ABSOLUTELY amazing for the beginning of the project's songs, the sound of it is so amazingly arranged).

not to mention like, all the other songs! (if you can't tell, i really REALLY love this project!! hella recc )
