EXCITED!!!!

I’m getting my second BJD! She’s not a Smart Doll in the sense of the brand, but the measurements are the exact same. (If anyone has out more info on Doris Dolls, that would be nice. I found a website and apparently they’re Korean. That’s all I know. It’s fine if she turns out to be a recast. It wouldn’t be a copy from a brand so small that recasts would be a hit to their business. And honestly, she’s already been made. There’s no point in not buying secondhand because the doll is a recast. It’s not going to undo the doll’s making.) The clothes on Etsy are.more than a little bit expensive (like 23 USD for a tiny sweater, at its worst) so I’m getting a few beginner patterns and my mom and I are going to the craft store to get fabric. I have my fingers crossed they’ll have Hello Kitty fabric in a small enough print. I don’t have a whole lot of sewing experience, but we have a machine (actually, we own like seven, but we only have one physically available and working right now.) and mom knows the basics. And YouTube can fill in the gaps. Her name will be Aida. Aaaaaa

update: she’s not a true BJD apparently, she’s actually a mechanical jointed doll. Doesn’t mean I love her any less, but I’m glad I was told BEFORE I tried to take her apart like you can with true BJDs.
