thoughts on the band bastille

For me proclaiming myself the worlds biggest Bastille fan (it's literally true i've been in their 0.005% of listeners for the past 4 years /lh), I really don't talk about them enough

@ACEOFSPADES_SYS: going to give you a brief overview of my favorite songs from each album/mixtape (note: most of oph pt 1 and pt 2 arent on streaming bc of copyright issues (most of it is covers). dan smith (the lead singer) said people could pirate those mixtapes if they wanted. just leaving that there)

oph pt 1: requiem for blue jeans

oph pt 2: no angels, sweet pompeii (this is a mashup of sweet nothing by calvin harris with bastille's song pompeii so if you like that song you'll like this too!!)

oph pt 3: torn apart (both I and II), bite down

oph pt 4: the descent, would i lie to you?

all this bad blood: pompeii, daniel in the den, laura palmer, poet

wild world: an act of kindness, oil on water, fake it, warmth

doom days: quarter past midnight, doom days, another place (w/ or w/o alessia cara. both versions are Very Cool)

give me the future: distorted light beam, thelma and louise, plug in, stay awake?
