i'm getting into crochet. any tips?

I really recommend starting with amigurumi if you don't have the attention span to sit around and make 148 granny squares to just make one bag-

But Its really simple! You learn all the basic stitches from it because it's pretty repetitive, but at the end you get a really cute plush, or whatever your makin!
