@plurzombie: YES OMG I say that stuff is so gender on a daily basis also this was just a super good explanation in general. ALSO if you'd like, I'd love to talk to you about your xenopronouns and xenogenders (ofc no pressure tho like fr just say no if you dont want too) heart bounce

i know someone else said someone else explained it but i totally get ur confusion, and i see this sometimes where people say "______ is so gender", outside of things like femininity, masculinity, androgyny, neutrality, etc. Like, halloween, fursuits, colours, etc. And a lot of xenogenders exist under that premise, of describing gender without a gender binary, and there's thousands upon thousands of xenogenders out there because of how unique they are from person to person!! :3 (if anyone tries to tell you xenogenders r transphobic and that xenoids are better they are just fulla bs)

Also the pronouns bit, i don't see a lot of ppl strictly use them, but often time they just add another layer of comfort for some :3 like me, I use zomb/zombs/zombself pronouns because of my connection to zombies, so using those pronouns would be like "Zomb does a lot of digital art, I like zombs art and i see zomb push zombself with every time zomb posts. ", there's a lot of differing things n such but that's a very basic explanation.

tl;dr: comfort, and going outside the gender binary :3

I also appreciate your kindness to approaching something like this because when i first heard about xenogenders and neopronouns I was actually just straight up transphobic with that type of stuff, but now I know better thumbsup

Ik someone else already answered this but for me (as someone with autism) most of my xenogenders are based off of a specific type of aesthetic. Like it’s very hard to explain it to someone because it’s the kinda thing you have to feel to understand yknow? But my one main one is based off of Kris from deltarune because deltarune is like my favorite thing ever and I aggressively kin them.

so I think they were made for neurodivergent ppl first, but anybody can use them!! Its kinda hard to explain but um ill give an example lol

catgender: someone who's gender feels like a cat, or has a connection to cats in some way.

its basically what your gender feels like!! just not with 'typial' pronouns ^^

(if u have any more questions ill try my best to answer them lol)
