My first in person trade was kind of funny actually. I hadn't brought any trade stuff that day, I didn't really have a lot of time to prepare. My girlfriend's son (He's 22) invites me to go to Dejavu, its a strip club but that in itself isn't really important, not really my thing but the Dj was suppose to be awesome and they were having this huge black light event. So I went with him just to keep him out of trouble. Anyway I'm sitting there sipping a soda sort of enjoying the music when one of the strippers comes over, I remeber she had this amazing white fur on, OMG it looked so good in the lighting, but she totally blows my mind by not only admiring my kandi but stripping off a glow in the dark single with this cute little gem on it, and the words Deja Vu with the gem right in the middle of the A and the V, and she just gives it to me, and asked if I will sit here for the night and talk Kandi with her when she has a break! She brings out her little portable kit and lets me play with the beads all night long. I made her a spiked glow in the dark disk for letting me use her supplies...and that was my first ever Kandi Trade! I don't even know her real name but I still remember the fun we had discussing the beads and types of string.

My first snail mail trade was my spirit hood for kandi. My first in person trade was at comic con in kansas last weekend and I love it. It was single for single but it means alot to me.

my first trade was unsuccessful since not alot of ppl here in albuquerque are into kandi n seem really shy or keep to themselves my first one was by mail. i traded one of my first pieces which was a single with a ice cream pop perler on it. sadly it turned out to be a one sided thing but it didn't get me down. i decided to just do giveaways instead. still fun n plus i get to make someone's day when they receive my kandi.
